FE – 17/2026 Youthreach Resource Person (Permanent)

Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board is now holding a competition for a permanent Youthreach Resource Person position located in Ballymahon Youthreach.

A panel may also be formed, from which other temporary, fixed term and/or permanent Youthreach Resource Person positions may be filled, should they arise
across our Youthreach centres in Longford and Westmeath until 31st December 2026.

Youthreach is a full-time programme of integrated general education, vocational training, work experience and learner support for early school leavers aged between 15 and 20 years. Candidates should be familiar with the personal, social and educational needs of disadvantaged young people in this age range and should have relevant experience in this area. Applicants should be flexible, multi-disciplined and experienced in a student-centred approach to learning.
