Stop Motion to Make Us Stop and Think

As able-bodied people, we take so much for granted. We don’t often stop to think about what life must be like for disabled people, how things that are so simple for us, can be so difficult for them.

This short Stop Motion film, funded by the Community Education Service of Longford Westmeath ETB, tries to give an insight into the daily struggles faced by wheelchair users.

Work on the animation started in the middle of February 2019 with the building and painting of the sets & making the people and objects.  The project finished in June 2019 with the stop motion animation.
