LWETB is committed to developing its new quality assurance policies and procedures in line with its strategic goals and priorities as outlined in its Statement of Strategy 2022-2026 and in line with the requirements of QQI’s Core Statutory QA Guidelines. 

Our QA procedures are being developed in line with our core values and aim to be inclusive innovative, professional, respectful and transparent.

The Further Education and Training Quality Assurance System (FETQS) policies, procedures and processes of LWETB are ongoing and will provide an agreed FET framework for quality assurance that is implemented by staff and overseen by the FETQS Unit and our FET QA governance system. In turn, this framework is designed to support the implementation of our QA Strategy Statement, Service Plan and QQI Review Report of LWETB.
The update of existing QA policies and procedures and development of new ones will form the basis of achieving this goal and are developed in consultation by FETQS with and for learner, staff and stakeholders.

FETQS is tasked with the development of FET QA procedures and these FET policies and procedures are being developed in line with our core values and aim to be inclusive innovative, professional, respectful and transparent.

The Quality Assurance FETQS policies, procedures and processes of LWETB provide an agreed framework for quality assurance that is implemented by staff and overseen by the FET QA governance system.
